Cath Grimley Counselling

Helping you to feel better, gain a greater understanding of yourself and overcome problems

Welcome, and thank you for visiting Cath Grimley Counselling. I currently offer counselling sessions online and in the areas of Birmingham, Coventry, West Midlands, Coventry and Warwickshire.

I am an integrative therapist and I tailor the approach and modality I work in to suit the individual needs of each client. Entering into therapy can be a daunting prospect but I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where we can work together to help you feel better about what is troubling you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

I have previously worked in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I also have experience working with depression and childhood trauma.

About Me

I qualified as a counsellor in 2021 with an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Keele University. Since then I have completed foundation certificates in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Theory. As well as a BACP qualified counsellor, I am also a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (membership no. 258972) and hold a PhD in help-seeking behaviour.
